The beginning sounds so...boring. But, in the end that is what this is. The beginning. The beginning of my rants and raves to all the online world. I chose to name my blog design diffuse (not to be confused with the word: defuse - like removing the fuse from something explosive) because I believe that design is most beautiful and inspiring when it is eclectic, unique, tied to emotion, without rules and shared.

Adjective: Spread out over a large area; not concentrated.
Verb: Spread or cause to spread over a wide area or among a large number of people.
You even say it differently than the word defuse. (Am I insulting your intelligence?) It is much prettier. Rolls of the lips as if you were a bit more sophisticated than you actually are. I like it. And, even more, I like that it is not concentrated. With my blog I chose to not concentrate on one type of design. I want to share a bit of everything.
I'm a teacher by education and profession. Geography and History are my faves. A photographer by passion. A wife by choice and fortune. A mother because of the gifts of a loving Heavenly Father. An expert of nothing.
I get excited when I see beautiful colors accentuated by rays of light or patterns that pop. I think there are so many things in daily life that deserve our praise as ART. I love the styles and simplicity of bygone eras. I am an old soul.
And, I want to share all things beautiful, random, comedic, funky, crafty, blunt, precious, and perfect, with you.
